| John Serafini
John S. Serafini is the Director of National Labs at Allied Minds, a private company. John manages the firm’s efforts to commercialize dual use defense, security and energy technologies being spun out of US national laboratories.
John was formerly a principal at Good Harbor Consulting where he worked with Mr. Richard Clarke, the former special advisor to three Presidential Administrations, as a venture capital/growth equity investor and M&A specialist with sector concentration in cyber security. A former US Army infantry officer, John earned a BS degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School, and an MPA degree from the Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government. John is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and a Chartered Financial Analyst Candidate.
John works between Washington, DC, Abu Dhabi, and Boston where he lives with his wife, Daniele, and two-year old son, Jack. An avid mountaineer and outdoor enthusiast, John is the founder of Mountains for Miracles, a 501(c)(3) devoted to raising capital for innovative pediatric oncology research through the pursuit of epic mountaineering and trekking endeavors.
