Mark Rosenblum

Mark Rosenblum is an award-winning historian at Queens College of the City University of New York where he is director of both the Michael Harrington Center for Democratic Values and Social Change and the Jewish Studies Program. An expert on the Middle East, he has combined academic research and policy analysis with direct involvement in Middle East conflict resolution since the 1980s.

Since the mid-1980s, Professor Rosenblum has been involved in numerous efforts to facilitate Israeli-Palestinian coexistence: through organizing and moderating six international conferences with leaders of the PLO, the Palestinian Authority and Israeli national figures, hosting a roundtable discussion series televised in the U. S. entitled "From the Battlefield to the Negotiating Table", and by founding and supporting the Israeli-Palestinian Youth Dialogue program.

Mr. Rosenblum has spoken and written extensively as a Middle East political analyst. His radio and television appearances include: Larry King Live, MSNBC, CBS and NBC evening news, CNN and National Public Radio.

His most recent writings on the Middle East have been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Boston Globe, Miami Herald, Philadelphia Inquirer, Washington Jewish Week, Los Angeles Jewish Journal, The Forward, San Francisco Chronicle, Baltimore Sun and Los Angeles Times.
