| Ran Dank
Ran Dank was born in Israel in 1982 and started piano lessons at the age of seven. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the Rubin Academy of Music at Tel Aviv University. Ran Dank was the winner of the Sander Buchman Memorial First Prize in the 2008-09 legendary Young Concert Artists International Auditions where he was also awarded the John Browning Memorial Prize.
He’s the recipient of a career development grant from the Arthur Foundation and was awarded the prestigious Gina Bachauer Scholarship in 2006 at the Juilliard School. Ran Dank has already made his debut at the Kennedy Center in Washington and at Lincoln Center with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s under Pinchas Zukerman. From his prize at the Cleveland Piano Competition, he appeared as soloist with the Cleveland Orchestra under the baton of Jahja Ling. Mr. Dank also won the Concerto Competition at Juilliard to perform as soloist with the Juilliard Orchestra. The recipient of grants from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, he has a Master’s degree from the Juilliard School where he worked with Emanuel Ax and Joseph Kalichstein. Mr. Dank is presented by Young Concert Artists.
